Three international airlines will begin operating flights to Siem Reap Province before the end of 2025!
According to the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation (SSCA), at least three international airlines are in the process of launching operations at Siem Reap–Angkor International Airport before the end of this year.
The three airlines are
1/ Firefly Airlines:
A subsidiary of the Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), which will operate direct flights between Kuala Lumpur and Siem Reap, starting 27 November.
2/ T’way Air and Air Busan:
Both are low-cost carriers based in South Korea and will soon begin operating their flights to Siem Reap in the near future (maybe around December).
H.E. Sinn Chansereyvutha, Secretary of State and spokesperson for SSCA, stated that the growing number of international air connections is a result of the Royal Government’s open-sky policy and the availability of modern airport facilities.
He added that, thanks to the concerted efforts of the SSCA, the Ministry of Tourism, and other relevant institutions, Cambodia has seen remarkable progress in expanding new direct flight routes.
